Honeybee Effect Studies

Honeybees are a very important ecological and economical factor in agriculture. Crop yields are often related to the degree of pollinating activity by bees. The application of plant protection products must therefore be shown to do no harm to honeybees.

Consequently, an intensive testing programme to assess the effects of plant protection products on honeybees is required by EU and individual Member State legislation.
Our experts carry out semi-field (tunnel) and field studies to assess the effects of plant protection products on honey bees.

Our years of experience in conducting ecological field studies in various countries allow our team to provide this service throughout Europe and beyond (e.g. southern hemisphere countries including South America and South Africa).
