Ecotoxicological Residues

Residue uptake via food items is currently considered to be the main exposure route in risk assessments for birds and mammals.

The residue content of potential food items is a key factor driving the outcome of risk evaluations. We have established specific and reliable methods for sampling of various food items potentially consumed by a range of vertebrates.
These food items include arthropods (from different crop strata), earthworms, plant material including seeds, fruits and green plant material treated with the test compound in accordance with good agricultural practice. Subsequent residue analyses enable our experts to calculate relevant parameters and provide refined residue concentrations for your risk assessment.
